Health and farming, in the same villages.
Health sessions, vaccination and mosquito nets on one front; seeds, gardens and farmer training on the other. The families are the same.
01Health education
Preventing costs less than treating late.
We work with the region's health centres and with community health workers. Most of what we do happens under a tree, in a yard or at a mobile clinic — not in a hospital.

Community sessions
Hygiene, nutrition and warning signs, in local languages.

Mother and child
Follow-up for pregnant women, newborns and children.

Vaccination
Support for campaigns and routine check-ups.

Malaria
Nets delivered and hung, and what to do about a fever.

Water and sanitation
Safe water and handwashing at home and at school.

Mobile clinic
Consultations in the remotest villages and emergency transport.

In a village, a family's health and the harvest from its field are the same story.
A child with malaria misses school; a field without water feeds no one.
That is why we work on both fronts at once.
02Agricultural support
A garden that produces all year changes a family's table.
Quality seeds, simple irrigation and techniques farmers can keep up on their own. We always start with what is already grown in the area.

Farmer training
Growing, water management and good practice in family gardens.

Seeds and nurseries
Access to quality seeds and community nurseries.

Gardens and irrigation
Setting up gardens and simple irrigation systems.

Livestock
Feeding, shelter and basic care for goats and small animals.

Trees
Reforestation and fruit trees to protect the soil.

Our work is not to bring things to villages. It is to leave behind knowledge and means that carry on after we have gone.
